Intolerance Testing via ALCAT

The ALCAT test measures how white blood cells respond when exposed to different foods, additives and chemicals. White blood cells are a core part of the immune system, and when something is problematic for the body they can change in both size and number. The ALCAT system detects these changes.

Unlike standard allergy tests, which only check for antibodies such as IgE or IgG, the ALCAT test uses whole blood. This captures the full picture, including all the immune factors, blood cells and proteins that may be involved in a reaction. When the body reacts to a food or chemical it can release chemical messengers such as histamine and cytokines. These drive inflammation and symptoms such as bloating, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, skin flare ups or joint pain. Because the ALCAT measures the activity of white blood cells, it can detect both antibody driven and non antibody reactions, including those often missed on standard allergy testing.

This broader scope makes the ALCAT particularly useful for uncovering hidden intolerances that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms.

The myDNA Methylation Report offers a detailed analysis of how well the body’s methylation pathway is functioning. Neurotransmitter Testing
